No Line Water Coloring with Distress Ink

I am back to share a technique that I have been working on for a while. I tend to be heavy-handed as a crafter, so I usually heat emboss then watercolor my images to help me stay within the lines. I decided to try no-line water coloring again and use the completed image for a card. I've tried before and been unhappy with it, so most of those have ended up in a scrap pile.

I am using color inspiration from The Color Throwdown #568

And here is my take:

After so many attempts, I am relatively pleased with how this one turned out. The Distress Ink colors I used were: Evergreen Bough, Wild Honey, Antique Linen, and Brushed Corduroy. The stamp set is an exclusive from Simon Says Stamp & Honey Bee Designs Stamptember release this year.

Thanks for stopping by!
